Re: Giorgio Armani Japanese made brushes
I just saw something about these brushes on Instagram for someone I follow. I don't think it will be long before almost all the brands that want to stay relevant will turn to Kumano for help. I had a woman do a look on me at the Chanel counter a few months back and was trying not to die with all the...

Re: TAKEDA brushes
That's what I'm guessing. I just wasn't sure about mothballs because I think some are not ideal to use. I hear Cedar wood that comes in small chunks is a good repellant too. Here is his exact words to me: "do you keep up your order ? If you do not use it for long time , please storage it with ...

Re: TAKEDA brushes
Oh I forgot to mention that Yasuhiro San sent me a small red liner brush free of charge. I think it was because my two additional brushes took longer than expected and they had accidentally missed my payment. They didn't realize until I emailed them two weeks later to check up on the order bc I hadn...

Re: TAKEDA brushes
Bea, I told Mr. Takeda I wanted a back up brush to store away and he said if you don't use it for awhile, to store with insect repellant. He didn't elaborate more so I'm guessing it's for moisture and who knows, to keep little critters away. I just put silica packets in near my brushes to help cut d...

Re: TAKEDA brushes
Someone was asking why they charge to have their own name engraved on the brushes...Mr. Takeda mentioned they have another company do it for them--so that maybe why? Anyway, I wanted to share my pencil brush (modified from Sonia's design). HEAVEN. Now my search for the perfect pointed pencil brush ...

Re: TAKEDA brushes
Insect repellent hahaha! Yes mothballs probably. I am definitely keeping your brush number for reference. I find smaller brushes more suitable for my uses and this one definitely will work on me. I don't like too much 'smoky' for want of a better word, just a little smudging for liner is what looks...

Re: TAKEDA brushes
That looks like an awesome pencil brush!! My Takeda wishlist just got a little longer lol.  Thanks, Bea I am so thrilled with it! It's fantastic for soft blending around the eye. I trade density for the pointed ability to draw a slight cat eye with kohl liner/shadows and to cr...
