Hi Anna, What might help is combing the hair of whatever brush you are washing, as sometimes the brushes are not properly finished after being assembled. Combing them thru helps to remove all the loose hair; this is what Hakuhodo recommends as well, and it really does make a difference. After washin...

I have the EXACT SAME issue!!
The sealer definitely helps the liner from smudging and it doesn't irritate my eyes, and while it doesn't stop tha outer-corner from tearing, at least the liner stays put.
