SURRATT JAPANESE INSPIRED BEAUTY LINE

Postby Melissa » Sat Nov 02, 2013 12:15 pm

Browsing through Barneys online shopping I stumbled upon this beauty line. Never heard abt the guy but his recently launched beauty line looks promising! He is inspired by the Japanese cosmetics and has everything produced in Japan.

The overall look of his line reminds me of ADDICTION (square customizable e/s pans) meets SUQQU (duochrome compacts) and a touch of THREE (rectangle blush pans). In 1 of his interviews he also mentioned that he will launch his Made in Japan makeup brushes soon (hand made and hand dyed in Japan).
His "signature product" should be the Eye Baton for smokey eyes, which is a bit steap at $32!
Anyone seen this collection IRL at Barneys??

They do look tempting huh....! Especially his upcoming makeup brushes. Cant wait to try out his e/s since he explained how they were made (liquid to powder)! Unfort Barneys doesn't have the compact just yet. Only the refill e/s and blush.

I already tried to order some e/s and wanted them to be delivered to my office in US to avoid high shipping and possibility of custom charges. However, I couldn't select an US shipping addy and at the same time using my Int CC for payment with the Dutch billing addy :(
PAIN IN THE A**!!

Anyway, I emailed Barneys and they suggest to call 1 of the stores and place the order by phone. UUURRGGHH....

I ordered 2 e/s $20 plus tax each refill. U can order these online with free shipping!
Nr 9 Ombre - matte taupy shade
Nr 14 Burgundy Brown - satin without glitters
1 Blush: nr 7 Parfait $32 plus tax - matte coral shade!

Will play with it tomorrow! YAAAAY
