Notice how Melissa spelled my name in caps bahahaha!

Darling Mel, price matters if you've got IMATS in less than 3 weeks, the Koyudo maple leaf set and another brush that I'm in the works of acquiring... :confusion-seeingstars:

Not to mention Xmas just around the corner.

Hi Jeanette,
I'm at work right now, so I have no comparison pic for you, but I actually compared the BP016 to the Takumi #4 this morning. Their form is not the same. The BP016 has a pressed ferrule which makes the brush head flatter in comparison to the Takumi, which is perfectly round in shape. As far as softness is concerned, if I had to judge, I would say that the Takumi is a tick softer, but that may be due to the different form of the head - flat ( BP016 ) as opposed to more domed/ rounded in the case of the Takumi.
Both are great brushes. It would just depend on your preference of head shape.

Did anyone get the T-5 highlight brush?
I'd love to see post wash pics of that one.

Ooh, :ty: Devin!
I'm looking at the foundation brush too now......for cream blush. I'm so impressed with the quality of the ones I have. It's been a while since I was so pleasantly surprised by new brushes. Once you have a good collection, there is not much which can REALLY impress, but the Takumi I chose really topped my expectations.

I got the highlight brush and it's so fluffy and quite large post wash. I used it this morning for blush and it's awesome. Sorry, I didn't have time to take a pic and now it's dirty. I'm glad Devin can help you out. I also couldn't decide which brush to compare it to. The only highlight brushes I own are the Z-2, Haku G5521 and Tanseido YWC17 and YWQ17 (I may be wrong on those dang numbers). The Takumi cheek brush is now on my wish list for next year.
