I am looking for some suggestions on what to use to cover a single Chikuhodo brush in my makeup bag.
I keep my brushes on my dresser but there are times when I would
like to carry a brush or two in my cosmetic bag for a touch up during
the day.
Any suggestions for a mono brush/cover holder?
I am looking for something a little bit more upscale..

Do you not like the Haku single pouches? I have the larger one (holds many brushes) in midnight blue and my mom has the gold/khaki one, they are quite lovely and well made imo, better than I expected actually. So I have just ordered a few of the single ones to carry in my bag, here's a pic Marty sent me:

I just looked at the Hakuhodo website & I am not seeing what you have
pictured.. I am just seeing Po810BR ( 4 brush capacity)
I would like to just carry my Chikuhodo powder/cheek brush
I would guess that the Chikuhodo brushes would fit in this
The colors look really nice, too

When I bought one I didn't see it on their website - I had to email them.

Re: Suggestions to protect Z series Chikuhodo brush
I just received an e-mail. Waiting to see what the inside looks like
& was told they are not on their website.
So I am sensing that it is better to have a brush pouch for protection
than to put it in let's say that orange pouch. The brush pouch will
protect the brush & handle better than a pouch will.
I have to say thank you to all for your prompt responses. I didn't
feel the need to spend $$$ on the leather pouch holders, IYKWIM..
These look like they will do the job & think the colors are fun in your
bag

Oh I want a couple of these Haku single pouches! Nice colours! But yeah I wanna see what the inside looks like lol.

Re: Suggestions to protect Z series Chikuhodo brush
All the pouches from the Japanese website can be ordered through hakuhodousa.com by emailing them: http://www.hakuho-do.co.jp/products/list86.html
Outside it is covered by a clear plastic coating on top a colour (mine is gold) that can be easily washed. Inside it is soft and looks like faux mahogany coloured leather but is also plastic, and can also be wiped with a wet cloth. It is stiff enough to hold its form, but is soft enough to be bent.

Seeing that pic from Marty and the awesome color selection they have was the last push I needed to actually purchase one - thanks gatos! The red one will be mine.
And a thank you to Jeanette for her superfast uploading of pics of the inside, too. You know what pics a smuttie really wants to see
